Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Arturo Montiel got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Evelio Terres cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Hugo Nazario was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Esteve Tonio came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Vinará FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Esteve Tonio couldn't finish the play. If Eleuterio Frederico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leandro Sengrat's late challenge caught a Club Deportivo Santiago's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leandro Sengrat helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Club Deportivo Santiago booed when Vinará FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro Sengrat didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonardo Meca missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 18 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Hugo Nazario right hand side. In the 19th minute, Evelio Terres reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hugo Nazario. The goal made the score 3-0. Vinará FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Zuberoa Mesia scored to the left of an out of position Hugo Nazario, making the score, 4-0. Esteve Tonio kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After having played for 28 minutes, Esteve Tonio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vinará FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Esteve Tonio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Zuberoa Mesia kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hugo Nazario. That made the score 5-0 in the 30 minute of play. Eleuterio Frederico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hugo Nazario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zuberoa Mesia in the 38th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zuberoa Mesia in the 46th minute of play forced Vinará FC's goalkeeper Hugo Nazario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vinará FC's Hugo Nazario proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Vinará FC from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eleuterio Frederico made a kick off. Hugo Nazario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Montiel in the 52nd minute of play. Hugo Nazario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evelio Terres in the 59th minute of the match. Zuberoa Mesia took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hugo Nazario. Hugo Nazario dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. 64 minutes into the match, Vinará FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Montiel came free, but Hugo Nazario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hugo Nazario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zuberoa Mesia in the 66th minute of play. Hugo Nazario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evelio Terres, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Vinará FC:s Hugo Nazario showed great skill when he stopped Sotomayor Mesia:s penalty. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vinará FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sotomayor Mesia was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Deportivo Santiago's players had a chance to rest. Danilo Orlan thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Hugo Nazario, a very annoying self made goal in the 73rd minute which led to 8-0. In the 76th minute Arturo Montiel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Nazario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Club Deportivo Santiago's zone, Eleuterio Frederico stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santino Mora came out of the goal and Eleuterio Frederico tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hugo Nazario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zuberoa Mesia in the 81st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Vinará FC's Nestor Paulin got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 87th minute Pedro Loarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Nazario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Vinará FC defense, Zuberoa Mesia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hugo Nazario. The Vinará FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hugo Nazario should have stopped the shot. Zuberoa Mesia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hugo Nazario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arturo Montiel, who was totally free with the ball in the 99th minute. There was no doubt that Club Deportivo Santiago were the better team. Club Deportivo Santiago's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
