Santino Mora had in the 15thth minute some difficulties stopping Kelvin Caine's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The audience was convinced that Wlodzimierz Kieca's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Santino Mora was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Club Deportivo Santiago's Santino Mora played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wlodzimierz Kieca in the 17th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Wlodzimierz Kieca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. In the 35thth minute of the game Wlodzimierz Kieca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Deportivo Santiago's Santino Mora was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arturo Montiel in the 37thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Stephen Bright, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wlodzimierz Kieca in the 39th minute of play forced Club Deportivo Santiago's goalkeeper Santino Mora to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Santiago's goal looked a bit too open when Wlodzimierz Kieca came free, but Santino Mora reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After recieving a nice pass, FC Basel's Kelvin Caine tried to score from far away in the 65th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Wlodzimierz Kieca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Santino Mora tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wlodzimierz Kieca got free with Santino Mora in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 80 minutes into the match, FC Basel's Wlodzimierz Kieca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Santino Mora narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Club Deportivo Santiago's Arturo Montiel in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
