Xano Odín started the match with the kick off. Raúl Gasso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Xano Odín received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Ciro Del Vecchio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 9 minutes, Adriano Barone managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villa Gordiani's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adriano Barone was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 11th match minute, Real Armal F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Rajoi to maneuver through the defense. Real Armal F.C.'s Raúl Gasso got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Siro Casillas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amedeo Scarpa in the 17th minute of play. After some careless play in the Real Armal F.C. defense, Amedeo Scarpa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Siro Casillas. The Real Armal F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Siro Casillas should have stopped the shot. Raúl Gasso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 29 minutes into the game, Enzo Bearzot was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Villa Gordiani's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Armal F.C. the free kick. Enzo Bearzot kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the game, Real Armal F.C.'s Xano Odín nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ciro Del Vecchio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Raúl Gasso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Armal F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Raúl Gasso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciro Del Vecchio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Sigfrido Teruel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ciro Del Vecchio made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Raúl Gasso sent off a good shot on target.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adriano Barone stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emiliano Grossi during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 58th minute, Raúl Gasso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Armal F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Ciro Del Vecchio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xano Odín in the 66th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, Villa Gordiani's goal looked a bit too open when Xano Odín came free, but Ciro Del Vecchio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th match minute, Villa Gordiani was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arrigo Nanni to maneuver through the defense. In the 76th minute, Real Armal F.C.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Attilio Verdone fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Villa Gordiani's zone, Raúl Gasso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciro Del Vecchio came out of the goal and Raúl Gasso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 80th minute Xano Odín shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Del Vecchio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Villa Gordiani's goalkeeper Ciro Del Vecchio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Siro Casillas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adriano Barone, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. 91 minutes into the game, Attilio Verdone was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Villa Gordiani's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Armal F.C. the free kick. Attilio Verdone hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Villa Gordiani's Arrigo Nanni got a free kick in the 95th minute. Ciro Del Vecchio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Máximo Maestro in the 98th minute of the match. Real Armal F.C.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
