Alin Şoltuz made in the 9th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Los Valientes's Mehmet Bedri Rüştü. 10 minutes into the match, Galati Harbour Cats's goal looked a bit too open when Şerafettin Ilgın came free, but Manole Ghiondea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 10 minutes, Jo Bag mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galati Harbour Cats and the Los Valientes players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Galati Harbour Cats's Jo Bag got a free kick in the 10th minute. Sebastian Andone might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cemil Torgay. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sebastian Andone ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Şerafettin Ilgın in the 21st minute of play forced Galati Harbour Cats's goalkeeper Manole Ghiondea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Şerafettin Ilgın struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Manole Ghiondea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Valientes. After 27 played minutes Los Valientes got a freekick which was hit by Mehmet Hamdi Satılmış. Manole Anghel hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. If Şerafettin Ilgın had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 35 played minutes Galati Harbour Cats got a freekick which was hit by Jo Bag. Manole Ghiondea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şerafettin Ilgın in the 36th minute of play. Mehmet Bedri Rüştü hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Cemil Torgay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Andone in the 45th minute of the match. George Agachi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 49th minute. Cemil Torgay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Şerafettin Ilgın made a kick off. Şerafettin Ilgıns short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Manole Ghiondea to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filip Mavrogheni during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manole Anghel in the 61st minute of play forced Los Valientes's goalkeeper Cemil Torgay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes into the game, Manole Anghel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Cemil Torgay was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Los Valientes's Erol Buminhan got a free kick in the 67th minute. Petruț Vlăsiu scored 3-0 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cemil Torgay, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Şerafettin Ilgın received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Manole Ghiondea came out and tried to block the shot, but Şerafettin Ilgın slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 79th minute. Sungur Ökten hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 85th match minute, Los Valientes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehmet Bedri Rüştü to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute, George Agachi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 94 minutes into the game, Petruț Vlăsiu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Cemil Torgay was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Los Valientes getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Öztürk Enbiya hit a great ball. Petruț Vlăsiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cemil Torgay having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Galati Harbour Cats fully deserved thier win.
