In the 6th match minute, FCSB CUENCA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Pujol to maneuver through the defense. Silas de Salles might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Agapito Blanco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Silas de Salles ran back to his position shaking his head. Agapito Blanco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silas de Salles in the 10th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, FCSB CUENCA's goal looked a bit too open when Silas de Salles came free, but Agapito Blanco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Agapito Blanco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renatinho Vale in the 16th minute of play. After 21 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FCSB CUENCA! In the 22nd minute there was a penalty for JURIDIQUES F.C. Cristiano Romário stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Agapito Blanco. 0-1. When JURIDIQUES F.C's Silas de Salles in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcio Carreira got free with Percy Palmeira in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fausto Preuss recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, JURIDIQUES F.C's Dinei de Alcântara got a free kick in the 35th minute. 36 minutes into the match, JURIDIQUES F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Marcio Carreira came free, but Percy Palmeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Fausto Preuss kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Percy Palmeira. That made the score 1-1 in the 38 minute of play. Percy Palmeira was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Gică Popescu. 44 minutes into the match, Marcio Carreira dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Percy Palmeira, 2-1. Edgard Abraão hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. 48 minutes into the match, JURIDIQUES F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Marcio Carreira came free, but Percy Palmeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Silas de Salles made a kick off. After 51 played minutes FCSB CUENCA got a freekick which was hit by Vitin Domingo. When FCSB CUENCA's Marcio Carreira in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye JURIDIQUES F.C's goalie prevented a goal. In the 56th minute Dinei de Alcântara collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. Carlos Pujol's late challenge caught a JURIDIQUES F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Pujol helped the player get up and apologised. JURIDIQUES F.C made a substitution. Delfim Melo replaced Dinei de Alcântara. After 57 played minutes FCSB CUENCA got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Pujol. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zé Pedro Varela during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Zé Pedro Varela hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. 68 minutes into the match, JURIDIQUES F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Preuss came free, but Percy Palmeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74thth minute of the game Vitin Domingo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but JURIDIQUES F.C's Percy Palmeira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 77th minute, JURIDIQUES F.C's Silas de Salles dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcio Carreira in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Percy Palmeira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcio Carreira in the 85th minute of play forced JURIDIQUES F.C's goalkeeper Percy Palmeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute, Vitin Domingo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FCSB CUENCA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. Marcio Carreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Percy Palmeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcio Carreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute, Carlos Pujol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the JURIDIQUES F.C players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FCSB CUENCA.
