In the 4th minute of the match Betinho Aparecido sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stig-Ove Håkansson skillfully saved the ball. Torsten Ahlén scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lauro Secco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 11 minutes into the game, Annedal FC's Karl-Ove Nyberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lauro Secco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Lauro Secco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Ove Nyberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Guilherme Moraes kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Annedal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Fernando Nogueira came free, but Stig-Ove Håkansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Annedal FC's goalkeeper Stig-Ove Håkansson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maurinho Prestes. Åke Gunnarsson scored 0-3 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lauro Secco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 24 minutes into the match, Papunhas EC's Maurinho Prestes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stig-Ove Håkansson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 26 minutes into the game, Annedal FC's Torsten Ahlén nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lauro Secco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. In the 28th minute, Torsten Ahlén hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st minute, Niklas Norberg made a precise shot to the right of Lauro Secco. Papunhas EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. A collision led to Papunhas EC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. David Furtado hit a great ball. The supporters of Papunhas EC booed when Annedal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stig-Ove Kämpe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maurinho Prestes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig-Ove Håkansson having to interfere. In the 45th minute Luís Fernando Nogueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stig-Ove Håkansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes into the game, Torsten Ahlén was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Annedal FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Papunhas EC the free kick. In the 46th minute, Torsten Ahlén hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 48th minute, Karl-Ove Nyberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Annedal FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Niklas Norberg made the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, Annedal FC's Lauro Secco threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Torsten Ahlén, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 57 minutes into the game, Karl-Ove Nyberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lauro Secco. Karl-Ove Nyberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. Niklas Norberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Karl-Ove Nyberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Lauro Secco made a huge save. When Stig-Ove Kämpe fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Annedal FC's protests and gave Stig-Ove Kämpe a yellow card for diving instead. Stig-Ove Kämpe kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Stig-Ove Håkansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maurinho Prestes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lauro Secco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torsten Ahlén in the 69th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Annedal FC's Torsten Ahlén slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lauro Secco. That made the score 0-8 after 72 minutes of play. In the 75th minute of the match, Niklas Norberg got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lauro Secco was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a little luck, Papunhas EC's Lauro Secco got control of the ball when Karl-Ove Nyberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 78 minutes, Lauro Secco successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurinho Prestes in the 80th minute of play forced Annedal FC's goalkeeper Stig-Ove Håkansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Niklas Norberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Annedal FC's Per-Olof Söderqwist was substituted for Torsten Ahlén. 88 minutes into the match, Papunhas EC's goal looked a bit too open when Per-Olof Söderqwist came free, but Lauro Secco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Annedal FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
