Kosynierzy FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sylwester Praski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erkki Veider breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 39 minutes, Witold Wierzchowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kosynierzy FC and the Cin-Cin Marger la birra players grew even worse after the yellow card.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fred Härma to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Fred Härma's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zachariasz Osikowicz was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game.
