Bucare EFD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernabe Galtero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a rather tough play, Bucare EFD's Kaxen Balines got a free kick in the 7th minute. Kaxen Balines's late challenge caught a Granate's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kaxen Balines helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Bucare EFD's Kaxen Balines got a free kick in the 9th minute. Kaxen Balines kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Lucio Serapio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Narciso Aramberri was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Narciso Aramberri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Kirby, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Granate booed when Bucare EFD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kaxen Balines didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Bucare EFD's Froylan Zamarripa got a free kick in the 20th minute. Lucio Serapio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nardo Henestrosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ildefonso Columbo fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Granate's protests and gave Ildefonso Columbo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 25th minute, Ildefonso Columbo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Bucare EFD getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Bernabel Anguiano hit a great ball. Narciso Aramberri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernabe Galtero in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd minute Robert Kirby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narciso Aramberri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Bernabe Galtero made a precise shot to the right of Narciso Aramberri. Bucare EFD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 37th minute Bernabe Galtero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narciso Aramberri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bucare EFD's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lucio Serapio was slow to take the kick. During this time Granate's players had a chance to rest. Lucio Serapio made a great header on Granate's corner, it was just that Bucare EFD's Narciso Aramberri managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 41st minute of the match Bucare EFD got a corner. Granate's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nicollao Lascano ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Nicollao Lascano almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Granate's Jonathan Palmquist did a great save. After a rather tough play, Granate's Lucio Serapio got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After the first half Granate were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nardo Henestrosa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Lucio Serapio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 55 played minutes Granate got a freekick which was hit by Isaac Bladi. After 56 played minutes, Bucare EFD's Nicollao Lascano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonathan Palmquist came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bucare EFD reached it. Granate's Robert Kirby got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 60 minutes into the match, Bucare EFD's goalkeeper Narciso Aramberri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucio Serapio. The crowd rose to their feet as Robert Kirby kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Narciso Aramberri. That made the score 0-4 in the 66 minute of play. With a little luck, Bucare EFD's Narciso Aramberri got control of the ball when Robert Kirby tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Froylan Zamarripa was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 73 minutes had been played. Narciso Aramberri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robert Kirby in the 77th minute. In the 80th minute, Lucio Serapio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Granate fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Kirby in the 84th minute of play forced Bucare EFD's goalkeeper Narciso Aramberri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bucare EFD's Narciso Aramberri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Bucare EFD from getting a goal against them. Narciso Aramberri came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Granate's Robert Kirby. But to his dismay, Robert Kirby quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Granate played a much better game than Bucare EFD and deserved their victory. The Bucare EFD players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
