S O B E R A N O CIMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baldomiro Inocente was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Dagoberto Nogueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulino Bero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wesley Couto in the 20th minute of play forced La Banda del Tinto's goalkeeper Cristo Cordara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of La Banda del Tinto booed when S O B E R A N O CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Massa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dagoberto Nogueira made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Baldomiro Inocente sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angel Quijada in the 30th minute of play forced S O B E R A N O CIMZ's goalkeeper Dagoberto Nogueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 31 minutes, João Paulo Branco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S O B E R A N O CIMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Paulo Branco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in S O B E R A N O CIMZ's zone, Paulino Bero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dagoberto Nogueira came out of the goal and Paulino Bero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baldomiro Inocente got free with Dagoberto Nogueira in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wang Shu Guang kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After 42 played minutes, S O B E R A N O CIMZ's Pedro Augusto Saraiva shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cristo Cordara came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in S O B E R A N O CIMZ reached it. In the 43rd minute, Baldomiro Inocente made a precise shot to the right of Dagoberto Nogueira. S O B E R A N O CIMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. After a rather tough play, S O B E R A N O CIMZ's Renato Tepedino got a free kick in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paulino Bero was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Baldomiro Inocente ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dagoberto Nogueira was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. But to his dismay, Paulino Bero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. 89 minutes into the game, La Banda del Tinto's Paulino Bero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dagoberto Nogueira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. La Banda del Tinto were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
