Dagoberto Nogueira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 7 minutes into the match, Elpidio Efraim had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dagoberto Nogueira. S O B E R A N O CIMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elpidio Efraim was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After a rather tough play, S O B E R A N O CIMZ's Edu Antunes got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute, Elpidio Efraim made a precise shot to the right of Dagoberto Nogueira. S O B E R A N O CIMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. S O B E R A N O CIMZ's Dagoberto Nogueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Txeru in the 15th minute of play. Gonçalo Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 18 played minutes CF JABATOS got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Txeru. When Wesley Couto came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the S O B E R A N O CIMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wesley Couto couldn't finish the play. Dagoberto Nogueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Txeru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elpidio Efraim scored 0-4 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dagoberto Nogueira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Through an outstanding action, after 26 minutes, Guido Karmel successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a little luck, CF JABATOS's Guido Karmel got control of the ball when João Paulo Branco tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elpidio Efraim in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dagoberto Nogueira saved S O B E R A N O CIMZ from getting behind. Dagoberto Nogueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Txeru in the 34th minute of the match. It was a well-played corner which Dionisio Ferran managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elpidio Efraim in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dagoberto Nogueira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, S O B E R A N O CIMZ's Renato Tepedino got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 48th minute Marcos Txeru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dagoberto Nogueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.
The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dionisio Ferran during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 57 played minutes CF JABATOS got a freekick which was hit by Dionisio Ferran. A collision led to CF JABATOS getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Higinio Ovando hit a great ball. In the 63rd match minute, S O B E R A N O CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Massa to maneuver through the defense. Elpidio Efraim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 65th minute, Elpidio Efraim made a precise shot to the right of Dagoberto Nogueira. S O B E R A N O CIMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. After some careless play in the S O B E R A N O CIMZ defense, Marcos Txeru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dagoberto Nogueira. The S O B E R A N O CIMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dagoberto Nogueira should have stopped the shot. Wesley Couto charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wesley Couto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, S O B E R A N O CIMZ's Wesley Couto got a free kick in the 71st minute. After 73 minutes, Marcos Txeru mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CF JABATOS and the S O B E R A N O CIMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 73rd match minute, CF JABATOS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Txeru to maneuver through the defense. Guido Karmel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wesley Couto in the 76th minute of the match. After 81 played minutes CF JABATOS got a freekick which was hit by Gaston Urritz. Wesley Couto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guido Karmel having to make a save. The S O B E R A N O CIMZ fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when S O B E R A N O CIMZ's João Paulo Branco looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 88th minute, Elpidio Efraim left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CF JABATOS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-7. After 92 minutes, Marcelo Massa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the S O B E R A N O CIMZ and the CF JABATOS players grew even worse after the yellow card. João Paulo Branco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched CF JABATOS eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
