The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paulino Bero during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Kostas Periandros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomiro Inocente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angel Quijada lost his temper 27 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The goalkeeper, Cristo Cordara, was totally fooled by Pagos FC's Spyros Kyrimlis, who 29 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paris Latousakis in the 32nd minute of play forced La Banda del Tinto's goalkeeper Cristo Cordara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baldomiro Inocente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. La Banda del Tinto's attentive Fidel Zárate managed to snatch the ball when Giorgos Tsigas made a throw-in in the 36th minute of the game. In the 37th minute, Baldomiro Inocente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Pagos FC's zone, Baldomiro Inocente stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kostas Periandros came out of the goal and Baldomiro Inocente tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kostas Periandros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baldomiro Inocente's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Tasos Staikos hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Manolis Nikologiannis kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Fidel Zárate sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Pagos FC's Kostas Periandros didn't even have to move. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vaggelis Giannakidis was the one to do the kick off. A throw-in in the 55th minute of the game was made by Giorgos Tsigas with Manolis Nikologiannis as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Baldomiro Inocente put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Kostas Periandros. Cristo Cordara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nikos Micheloudakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. The corner ended in Spyros Kyrimlis almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but La Banda del Tinto's Cristo Cordara did a great save. Kostas Periandros was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Baldomiro Inocente showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 69 minute of play. Baldomiro Inocente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baldomiro Inocente in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Kostas Periandros, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 76th play minutes Baldomiro Inocente shot 1-6, a short shot which went by Kostas Periandros and just under the crossbar into goal. Baldomiro Inocente received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kostas Periandros came out and tried to block the shot, but Baldomiro Inocente slotted it home off the left post making it 1-7 in the 80th minute. Spyros Kyrimlis fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 86th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. Wang Shu Guang came free with the goalkeeper in the 89th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Kostas Periandros could save by the left post. After having played for 94 minutes, Kostas Karalexopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pagos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kostas Karalexopoulos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
