When Charles Darwin got free in front of the goal in the 3rd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Pascual Prejun was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Robustiano Ramirez kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Nicanor Costante kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Pascual Prejun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charles Darwin, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Italia's goal looked a bit too open when Alejandro Illan came free, but Pascual Prejun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 18 minutes, Ciriaco Txatxu made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Los Delfines's Horacio Heriberto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 22nd minute, Alejandro Illan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pascual Prejun was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Horacio Heriberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciriaco Txatxu in the 31st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Italia's Leonardo Lartaun got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Horacio Heriberto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciriaco Txatxu in the 35th minute of the match. After 36 minutes Los Delfines's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sebastian Vistruario who took care of the corner kick. Sergio Ixaka could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Pascual Prejun made a huge save. In the 43rd minute Charles Darwin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascual Prejun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Los Delfines players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Italia were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ciriaco Txatxu to make the kick off. Horacio Heriberto came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Italia's Ciriaco Txatxu. But to his dismay, Ciriaco Txatxu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Pascual Prejun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charles Darwin, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. With a little luck, Los Delfines's Horacio Heriberto got control of the ball when Dionisio Peruxu tried to sneak it across the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Italia's goal looked a bit too open when Alejandro Illan came free, but Pascual Prejun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sacha Boey in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pascual Prejun saved Italia from getting behind. Pascual Prejun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejandro Illan in the 74th minute of the match. 75 minutes into the game, Leonardo Lartaun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Italia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Delfines the free kick. The supporters of Los Delfines booed when Italia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Lartaun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Horacio Heriberto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ciriaco Txatxu's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Horacio Heriberto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faustino Ralondo, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 1-4 became the score in the 86th minute when Faustino Ralondo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.
