In the 7thth minute of the game Claude Walters who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 20 DE SETEMBRO's Hélder de Queiroz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to 20 DE SETEMBRO getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Marco Teles hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Alessandro Neves's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Charles Knapp was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Charles Knapp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alessandro Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. The corner led 20 DE SETEMBRO's Cacá Souto to fire away a dangerous shot which Charles Knapp despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to Cascade Park West getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Claude Walters hit a great ball. 31 minutes into the match, Cascade Park West's goal looked a bit too open when Alessandro Neves came free, but Charles Knapp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hélder de Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Trevor Schumacher in the 34th minute of the match. Alessandro Neves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Charles Knapp read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. After 37 minutes, Alessandro Neves made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Cascade Park West's Charles Knapp tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Hélder de Queiroz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Davis Gauthier in the 41st minute. In the 42nd match minute, Cascade Park West was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jamar Orlinsky to maneuver through the defense. The Cascade Park West players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. 20 DE SETEMBRO were winning 0-1.

The supporters of 20 DE SETEMBRO booed when Cascade Park West was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Trevor Schumacher didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alessandro Neves blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Charles Knapp having to make a save. Claudinei de Andrade hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. A collision led to 20 DE SETEMBRO getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Clóvis Corrêa hit a great ball. Hélder de Queiroz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claude Walters, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Hélder de Queiroz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tommie Ragsdale went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 63rd minute, Clóvis Corrêa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hélder de Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claude Walters in the 65th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Claude Walters's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hélder de Queiroz was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. In the 75th minute Claude Walters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélder de Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the 20 DE SETEMBRO defense, Davis Gauthier kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hélder de Queiroz. The 20 DE SETEMBRO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hélder de Queiroz should have stopped the shot. Charles Knapp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alessandro Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Luís Neiva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Charles Knapp made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claude Walters in the 88th minute of play forced 20 DE SETEMBRO's goalkeeper Hélder de Queiroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ferdinand Keyes fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cascade Park West's protests and gave Ferdinand Keyes a yellow card for diving instead. In the 92nd minute, Ferdinand Keyes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, 20 DE SETEMBRO's Cacá Souto tried to score from far away in the 93rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Luís Neiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Charles Knapp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cascade Park West's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
