Hélder de Queiroz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 19th minute Nils-Emil Ahlstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélder de Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Teles charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Mats Back fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélder de Queiroz having to interfere. Luís Neiva might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sven-Edvin Britz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luís Neiva ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 46th minute, 20 DE SETEMBRO's Alessandro Neves dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alessandro Neves was the one to do the kick off. 20 DE SETEMBRO's Hélder de Queiroz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save 20 DE SETEMBRO from getting a goal against them. In the 57th match minute, 20 DE SETEMBRO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cacá Souto to maneuver through the defense. Cacá Souto charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cacá Souto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 59 played minutes, Morris FC's Oskar Kellberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hélder de Queiroz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Morris FC reached it. Hélder de Queiroz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernard Wicklein, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute, Alessandro Neves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cacá Souto kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Mats Back could shoot a difficult shot in the 69th minute, which Hélder de Queiroz however easily saved by the left post. Hélder de Queiroz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nils-Emil Ahlstedt went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. If Luís Neiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes into the game, Alex Sjöström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Morris FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 20 DE SETEMBRO the free kick. After 83 played minutes Morris FC got a freekick which was hit by Alex Sjöström. 20 DE SETEMBRO's Hélder de Queiroz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nils-Emil Ahlstedt in the 86th minute of play. Alessandro Neves might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sven-Edvin Britz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. With a little luck, 20 DE SETEMBRO's Hélder de Queiroz got control of the ball when Mats Back tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Alex Sjöström was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 95 minutes had been played. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Morris FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
