After taking down the ball on FC U Cluj-N's corner Placido Santxol fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fabian Ortzi quite easily take care of the ball. A collision led to FC U Cluj-N getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Avram Bungeanu hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Severino Edwardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. CERPA's supporters rose to their feet, but Severino Edwardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tiberiu Udrescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fabian Ortzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Buculeasa in the 17th minute of play. Edgar Sabău struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Fabian Ortzi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC U Cluj-N. 26 minutes into the match, Thiago Almada had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tiberiu Udrescu. FC U Cluj-N's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thiago Almada was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The supporters of CERPA booed when FC U Cluj-N was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Avram Bungeanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute Thiago Almada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiberiu Udrescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Edwardo in the 32nd minute of play forced FC U Cluj-N's goalkeeper Tiberiu Udrescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gigel Runcu hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute Thiago Almada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiberiu Udrescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the game, CERPA's Thiago Almada nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tiberiu Udrescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 41st minute, Erki Aar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Fabian Ortzi managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when FC U Cluj-N's Edgar Sabău fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 46 played minutes FC U Cluj-N got a freekick which was hit by Ion Ţurlău.

The wind increased when Thiago Almada made the kick off in the second half. FC U Cluj-N's Tiberiu Udrescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Edwardo in the 55th minute of play. After 61 played minutes CERPA got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Edwardo. 62 minutes in the game, Thiago Almada fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Tiberiu Udrescu having to interfere. With a little luck, FC U Cluj-N's Tiberiu Udrescu got control of the ball when Thiago Almada tried to sneak it across the goal line. Felipe Txerran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiberiu Udrescu having to interfere. Tiberiu Udrescu was a little too slow when Severino Edwardo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 0-4. Fabian Ortzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Sabău, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. With a little luck, FC U Cluj-N's Tiberiu Udrescu got control of the ball when Thiago Almada tried to sneak it across the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Thiago Almada notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of FC U Cluj-N's Tiberiu Udrescu. Tiberiu Udrescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marcelino Patxi kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. CERPA's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
