The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jacinto Beloki was the one to do the kick off. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, ReyPoxo's Quinton Pais got control of the ball when Edgar Sabău tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edgar Sabău could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Quinton Pais made a huge save. Edgar Sabău received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Quinton Pais yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-12. Alex Buculeasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Quinton Pais read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Quinton Pais made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edgar Sabău in the 94th minute. FC U Cluj-N's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
