Spectators: 7490 (Terracing: 5618, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gino Carneiro started the match with the kick off. Zé Paulo Bezerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gino Carneiro in the 4th minute of play. Zé Paulo Bezerra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gino Carneiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, DENVER™'s Amauri Félix got a free kick in the 7th minute. After some careless play in the Premier FC defense, Waldir Romero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zé Paulo Bezerra. The Premier FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zé Paulo Bezerra should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waldir Romero in the 18th minute of play forced Premier FC's goalkeeper Zé Paulo Bezerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute DENVER™ were awarded a corner. Waldir Romero went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led DENVER™'s Caio de Mendonça to fire away a dangerous shot which Zé Paulo Bezerra despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 23rd minute, Márcio Guedes made a precise shot to the right of Zé Paulo Bezerra. Premier FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Márcio Guedes struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Zé Paulo Bezerra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DENVER™. In the 36th minute of the match DENVER™ got a corner. Premier FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Waldir Romero ran over to the corner to take the kick. Premier FC's Egídio Garcia suffered a concussion in the 41st minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Luiz Guilherme Toscano hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Caio de Mendonça charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Caio de Mendonça the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Caio de Mendonça hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Afonsinho Paiva made a kick off. Gino Carneiro scored 0-4 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zé Paulo Bezerra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 58th minute, Gino Carneiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 63rd match minute, DENVER™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gino Carneiro to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute, Márcio Guedes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 70 played minutes Premier FC got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Matos. Zé Paulo Bezerra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gino Carneiro in the 71st minute. Gino Carneiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Afonsinho Paiva charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Afonsinho Paiva the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Premier FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Afonsinho Paiva hit a great ball. In the 86th minute Luís Eduardo Capixaba suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Luiz Guilherme Toscano got his second yellow card in the match during the 86th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Premier FC made a substitution. Valdomiro Cearense replaced Luís Eduardo Capixaba. A collision led to DENVER™ getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Luiz Guilherme Toscano hit a great ball. During the 89th minute of the match Afonsinho Paiva completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Afonsinho Paiva a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 90 played minutes Premier FC got a freekick which was hit by Afonsinho Paiva. Waldir Romero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Zé Paulo Bezerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Premier FC's zone, Márcio Guedes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zé Paulo Bezerra came out of the goal and Márcio Guedes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. DENVER™'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
