The referee ignored Futuros FC's protests and gave Davi Barbosa a yellow card for diving instead. 6 minutes into the match, Futuros FC's goalkeeper Raúl Nóbrega had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zé Paulo Fernandez. Zé Paulo Fernandez's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Raúl Nóbrega firmly grabbed it by the left post. Tiago Freitas struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Raúl Nóbrega didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Werneck FC - DMZ. 12 minutes into the match, Futuros FC's goalkeeper Raúl Nóbrega had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Caco Corrêa. Tiago Freitas hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute Caco Corrêa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raúl Nóbrega saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Breno Zonta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Raúl Nóbrega tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Pimenta in the 32nd minute of play forced Werneck FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Joel Branco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute, Adilson Toledo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Futuros FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 38 minutes into the match, Werneck FC - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Papi Hamburger came free, but Joel Branco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Pimenta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Papi Hamburger stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Joel Branco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Pimenta, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After 73 played minutes Werneck FC - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Breno Zonta. During the 76th minute of the match Davi Barbosa completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Davi Barbosa a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Werneck FC - DMZ booed when Futuros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Davi Barbosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st minute, Papi Hamburger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 83 minutes into the game, Tomás Marques recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Joel Branco. Tomás Marques showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Werneck FC - DMZ's Joel Branco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Pimenta in the 86th minute of play. After 88 played minutes Werneck FC - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Caco Corrêa. When Futuros FC's Papi Hamburger in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Werneck FC - DMZ's goalie prevented a goal. Falcão Colorado hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. 97 minutes into the match, Futuros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Caco Corrêa came free, but Raúl Nóbrega reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Futuros FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Werneck FC - DMZ.
