WIDZEW ŁÓDŹ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lorien Laredo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Aycan Hidayet hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in amando iglesias's zone, Miromir Poniewaz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sixten Nordström came out of the goal and Miromir Poniewaz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 29th minute amando iglesias were awarded a corner. José Luis Salazar went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led amando iglesias's José Luis Salazar to fire away a dangerous shot which Eugeniusz Charlos despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Sixten Nordström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Demetrius Cho in the 33rd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, WIDZEW ŁÓDŹ's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Proença came free, but Eugeniusz Charlos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. amando iglesias were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after WIDZEW ŁÓDŹ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line.
