After 23 played minutes FC Philotimo got a freekick which was hit by Rafa Lloret. Teofilo Goicoolea hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Vico Lloret could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Poyraz Tümerkan made a huge save. In the 28th minute, Ünal Yatuk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to FC Philotimo getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Rodrigo Lecea hit a great ball. Poyraz Tümerkan made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Rafa Lloret sent off a good shot on target. Rafa Lloret was shown his second yellow card after 36 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Justavino Cortez to strike the kick off in the second half. If Doğan Ozaner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Justavino Cortez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Poyraz Tümerkan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Justavino Cortez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Justavino Cortez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Poyraz Tümerkan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teofilo Goicoolea charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
