Nestor Eskuin charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nestor Eskuin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Chacarita Jrs's Nestor Eskuin got a free kick in the 20th minute. Jochen Wolters's late challenge caught a Chacarita Jrs's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jochen Wolters helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Fc Schönhagen getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Jochen Wolters hit a great ball. 30 minutes into the match, Fc Schönhagen's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Eskuin came free, but Reimar Gaab reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36thth minute of the game Holger Köppchen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chacarita Jrs's Fernando Cefero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fernando Cefero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Holger Köppchen's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute, Danilo Furman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fernando Cefero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Holger Köppchen in the 41st minute of play. Jochen Wolters was shown his second yellow card after 47 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Fc Schönhagen's Jochen Wolters got a free kick in the 47th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The Chacarita Jrs fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Fernando Cefero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Holger Köppchen in the 74th minute of the match. Fc Schönhagen's Reimar Gaab played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aldo Ekain in the 74th minute of play. In the 81st match minute, Chacarita Jrs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aldo Ekain to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Fernando Cefero managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when Fc Schönhagen's Holger Köppchen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
