An unexpectedly hard shot by Hendrik Kants in the 3rd minute of play forced ATLETICO MENDOZA's goalkeeper Nemesio Terciero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mario Veelmaa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After a rather tough play, ATLETICO MENDOZA's Amador Bermudez got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 18th minute Hendrik Kants shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nemesio Terciero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute of the match, Hendrik Kants tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nemesio Terciero saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 26 minutes into the match, ATLETICO MENDOZA's goal looked a bit too open when Gerd Hennoste came free, but Nemesio Terciero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the game, Gerd Hennoste cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Nemesio Terciero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nemesio Terciero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hendrik Kants in the 30th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, FC RockOil's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Gentza came free, but Ago Lauka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 34 minutes, Evaristo Casomiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ATLETICO MENDOZA and the FC RockOil players grew even worse after the yellow card. ATLETICO MENDOZA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Mario Veelmaa scored to the left of an out of position Nemesio Terciero, making the score, 5-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gerd Hennoste got free with Nemesio Terciero in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Amador Bermudez took a quick shot and it went in 5-1 without a chance for Ago Lauka to make any attempt to save it. Nemesio Terciero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hendrik Kants, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. When Mario Veelmaa came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the FC RockOil fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mario Veelmaa couldn't finish the play. 60 minutes into the game, FC RockOil's Gerd Hennoste nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nemesio Terciero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. Aldo Sotil kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 69th minute of the match, Aimar Pärna sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Nemesio Terciero showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. After 71 played minutes ATLETICO MENDOZA got a freekick which was hit by Evaristo Casomiro. A collision led to ATLETICO MENDOZA getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Evaristo Casomiro hit a great ball. Nemesio Terciero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hardi Tajur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC RockOil's Eikki Anderson was substituted for Ülo Laat. ATLETICO MENDOZA's Nemesio Terciero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerd Hennoste in the 88th minute of play.
