Humberto Xavier didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cornel Ulici went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Brasilino's defense didn't have a chance, in the 8th minute, when Leif Olofsson scored to the left of an out of position Humberto Xavier, making the score, 2-0. In the 11th minute, Leif Olofsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Humberto Xavier was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Leif Olofsson kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Humberto Xavier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruben Smidts, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Alex Pihl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudinei Leal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. But to his dismay, Cornel Ulici quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 32nd minute, SK Mons's Leif Olofsson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Humberto Xavier. Humberto Xavier yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-0. Humberto Xavier was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Leif Olofsson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 7-0 in the 38 minute of play. If Frank Senna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alex Pihl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fiori Souto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the match, Leif Olofsson notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Brasilino's Humberto Xavier. Humberto Xavier was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Fiori Souto made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Cornel Ulici made a precise shot to the right of Humberto Xavier. Brasilino's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. The supporters of Brasilino booed when SK Mons was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sammy Van Houdtvin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Brasilino's goal looked a bit too open when Ruben Smidts came free, but Humberto Xavier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 63rd play minutes Nick Daniels shot 10-0, a short shot which went by Humberto Xavier and just under the crossbar into goal. Cornel Ulici took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Humberto Xavier. Humberto Xavier dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 11-0. Wágner Chaves's late challenge caught a SK Mons's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wágner Chaves helped the player get up and apologised. Wágner Chaves kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Brasilino's Luciano Cavalcante got a free kick in the 78th minute. Ruben Smidts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SK Mons's Alex Pihl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wágner Chaves in the 81st minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Cornel Ulici had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Humberto Xavier. Brasilino's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cornel Ulici was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 12-0. 89 minutes into the game, Cornel Ulici cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 13-0. Humberto Xavier was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lennart Libesoons took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Humberto Xavier. Humberto Xavier dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 14-0. SK Mons's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
