Spectators: 7451 (Terracing: 5590, Seating: 1713, VIP seats: 148) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Huib van der Gun kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰'s goal looked a bit too open when Giovanni Rademaker came free, but Nemesio Checa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Freek Saarloos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nemesio Checa having to interfere. ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰'s Nemesio Checa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Huib van der Gun in the 9th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Huib van der Gun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nemesio Checa was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Nemesio Checa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freek Saarloos, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After a rather tough play, ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰'s Severiano Izel got a free kick in the 13th minute. Nemesio Checa came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by NFC Eagles 22's Giovanni Craandijk. But to his dismay, Giovanni Craandijk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 20th minute, Huib van der Gun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 22nd minute, Huib van der Gun left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The NFC Eagles 22 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After 24 played minutes NFC Eagles 22 got a freekick which was hit by Giovanni Rademaker. Jan Tulner made in the 26th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Giovanni Craandijk. In the 26th minute, Severiano Izel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th match minute, ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severiano Izel to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰ defense, Giovanni Rademaker kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nemesio Checa. The ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nemesio Checa should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Huib van der Gun in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nemesio Checa saved ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰ from getting behind.

In the 51st match minute, ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Timo to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰'s zone, Freek Saarloos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nemesio Checa came out of the goal and Freek Saarloos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Giovanni Rademaker fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NFC Eagles 22's protests and gave Giovanni Rademaker a yellow card for diving instead. Nemesio Checa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giovanni Rademaker in the 59th minute of the match. Nemesio Checa was a little too slow when Giovanni Rademaker got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 0-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Huib van der Gun got free with Nemesio Checa in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 67 minutes into the game, Orlando Lugo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave NFC Eagles 22 the free kick. Orlando Lugo kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. With his leg Nemesio Checa managed to avoid a goal in the 73rdth minute, when NFC Eagles 22's Huib van der Gun fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Huib van der Gun blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nemesio Checa having to make a save. Nemesio Checa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Huib van der Gun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over NFC Eagles 22 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰ throughout the match.
