FSCMZ's Claudinho Macedo. Claudinho Macedo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Claudinho Macedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remus Bercea in the 19th minute of play. After 21 minutes of play, Bazar Alegria E.C. Remus Bercea hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute, Edmílson Senna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Berkan Temel was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Edmílson Sennas short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Berkan Temel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 42nd match minute, New York Red Bulls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remus Bercea to maneuver through the defense. New York Red Bulls's Remus Bercea got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Basarab Panduru to strike the kick off in the second half. Francisc Ştiubei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinho Macedo having to interfere. Berkan Temel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josué Aguiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With splendid footwork Francisc Ştiubei arrived in front of goal to shoot 3-3 by the left pole in the game's 58th minute. Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's Gil Peres was substituted for Edmílson Senna. Basarab Panduru blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Claudinho Macedo having to make a save. Claudinho Macedo made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Basarab Panduru sent off a good shot on target. FSCMZ booed when New York Red Bulls was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anton Tăutu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Anton Tăutu managed to get in a good position for a shot. New York Red Bulls's supporters rose to their feet, but Anton Tăutu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
