Spectators: 7547 (Terracing: 5662, Seating: 1735, VIP seats: 150) G.R.'s Eliya Tabachnik started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the New York Red Bulls defense, Eliya Tabachnik kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Berkan Temel. The New York Red Bulls fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Berkan Temel should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisc Ştiubei got free with Armen Werthein in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. G.R.'s Armen Werthein proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save G.R. from getting a goal against them. Berkan Temel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliya Tabachnik in the 13th minute of the match. After 14 played minutes G.R. got a freekick which was hit by Yoash Coppel. Berkan Temel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yefet Bar-Zohar in the 17th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Yefet Bar-Zohar made a precise shot to the right of Berkan Temel. New York Red Bulls's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 19th match minute, G.R. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Snir Nachum to maneuver through the defense. Berkan Temel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliya Tabachnik, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After some careless play in the New York Red Bulls defense, Eliya Tabachnik kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Berkan Temel. Berkan Temel came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by G.R.'s Eliya Tabachnik. But to his dismay, Eliya Tabachnik quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. The audience was convinced that Eliya Tabachnik's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Berkan Temel was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Armen Werthein showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basarab Panduru, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Berkan Temel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliya Tabachnik in the 44th minute of the match. 45 minutes into the game, Eliya Tabachnik cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Berkan Temel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Basarab Panduru made a kick off. Anton Tăutu might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armen Werthein. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anton Tăutu ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 53rdth minute of the game Anton Tăutu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but G.R.'s Armen Werthein was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Francisc Ştiubei in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armen Werthein saved G.R. from getting behind. Armen Werthein showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisc Ştiubei, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 63rd minute Janko Kaplan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Berkan Temel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When G.R.'s Janko Kaplan in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. New York Red Bulls's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave G.R. the free kick. In the 70th match minute, New York Red Bulls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisc Ştiubei to maneuver through the defense. Remus Bercea hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Janko Kaplan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Berkan Temel having to make a save. Armen Werthein took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisc Ştiubei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute New York Red Bulls were awarded a corner. Cristinel Alamaru went to the cornerflag to take it. A collision led to G.R. getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Snir Nachum hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, New York Red Bulls's Cristinel Alamaru tried to score from far away in the 80th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 83rdth minute of the game Janko Kaplan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but New York Red Bulls's Berkan Temel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 87 minutes, Eliya Tabachnik made it 0-7 with a short kick to the right side. New York Red Bulls's Berkan Temel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Armen Werthein took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisc Ştiubei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armen Werthein came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by New York Red Bulls's Basarab Panduru. But to his dismay, Basarab Panduru quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-7. G.R.'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
