Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Dušan Gurský got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Dušan Gurský notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of G.R.'s Armen Werthein. Armen Werthein was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 9 played minutes G.R. got a freekick which was hit by Eliya Tabachnik. If Yefet Bar-Zohar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Marián Chovanec fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC FERNET BOYS's protests and gave Marián Chovanec a yellow card for diving instead. Marián Chovanec hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Yefet Bar-Zohar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Jaromír Duda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Janko Kaplan made a precise shot to the right of Jaromír Duda. FC FERNET BOYS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. If Janko Kaplan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eliya Tabachnik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yoash Coppel's late challenge caught a FC FERNET BOYS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yoash Coppel helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to G.R. getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Yoash Coppel hit a great ball. In the 38th minute Eliya Tabachnik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaromír Duda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Janko Kaplan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jaromír Duda was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. In the 45th minute, Stanislav Masný hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Jaromír Duda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Janko Kaplan, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Jaromír Duda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eliya Tabachnik in the 55th minute. 57 minutes into the game, Viktor Peterka was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC FERNET BOYS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave G.R. the free kick. The supporters of G.R. booed when FC FERNET BOYS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viktor Peterka didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th minute, Eliya Tabachnik ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jaromír Duda was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Jaromír Duda made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Eliya Tabachnik sent off a good shot on target. Eliya Tabachnik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaromír Duda having to interfere. Eliya Tabachnik could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Jaromír Duda made a huge save. After taking down the ball on G.R.'s corner Yehoshua Kolai fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jaromír Duda quite easily take care of the ball. Stanislav Masný kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Eliya Tabachnik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Jaromír Duda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, FC FERNET BOYS's goalkeeper Jaromír Duda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eliya Tabachnik. 83 minutes into the match, FC FERNET BOYS's goal looked a bit too open when Janko Kaplan came free, but Jaromír Duda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Janko Kaplan in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jaromír Duda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jaromír Duda made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Eliya Tabachnik sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to FC FERNET BOYS getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Marek Kaplan hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Janko Kaplan in the 92nd minute of play forced FC FERNET BOYS's goalkeeper Jaromír Duda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The G.R. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing G.R. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
