The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gigi Filip received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. In the 9th match minute, Gold Raiders FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cenap Kerem to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the match, Gold Raiders FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gigi Filip came free, but Resul Yalın reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Resul Yalın took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gigi Filip, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hubert Villa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arif Erdem, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Bogdan Gherasim dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Resul Yalın, 1-0. After 66 played minutes Goranesti got a freekick which was hit by Alin Ciutacu. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Gold Raiders FC booed when Goranesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Corneliu Iorgovan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 94 minutes Goranesti's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cevahir Oyhan who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Cevahir Oyhan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hubert Villa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. There was no doubt that Goranesti were the better team. Goranesti's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
