Relyn Futebol Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ★Independiente Ψ★ the free kick. In the 3rd match minute, Relyn Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Róbson Loyola to maneuver through the defense. 12 minutes into the match, ★Independiente Ψ★'s goal looked a bit too open when Edvaldo Amaral came free, but Lorenzo Gentza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 20 minutes of play, ★Independiente Ψ★'s Honorato Taurino made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juan Vieira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lorenzo Gentza was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edvaldo Amaral showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 23 minute of play. Beto Trigo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lorenzo Gentza came out and tried to block the shot, but Beto Trigo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 27th minute. In the 30th minute Jonatan Gregory shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Vieira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 37 played minutes ★Independiente Ψ★ got a freekick which was hit by Armando Tello. Lorenzo Gentza made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Edvaldo Amaral sent off a good shot on target. Edvaldo Amaral came free with the goalkeeper in the 48th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Lorenzo Gentza could save by the left post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Donato Gorbea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Relyn Futebol Clube's Francisco Nóbrega seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Francisco Nóbrega the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Relyn Futebol Clube protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Francisco Nóbrega had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Francisco Nóbrega kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Juan Vieira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Gorbea, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edvaldo Amaral in the 54th minute of play forced ★Independiente Ψ★'s goalkeeper Lorenzo Gentza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ★Independiente Ψ★'s Lorenzo Gentza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edvaldo Amaral in the 59th minute of play. When Armando Tello fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ★Independiente Ψ★'s protests and gave Armando Tello a yellow card for diving instead. Armando Tello kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Lorenzo Gentza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Róbson Loyola in the 61st minute of the match. Jonatan Gregory kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, Conrado Azevedo notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of ★Independiente Ψ★'s Lorenzo Gentza. Lorenzo Gentza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Relyn Futebol Clube booed when ★Independiente Ψ★ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugenio Raymon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lorenzo Gentza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edvaldo Amaral, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 79th minute, ★Independiente Ψ★'s Arnoldo Frascuelo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. In the 88th minute, Edvaldo Amaral left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Relyn Futebol Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. Lorenzo Gentza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edvaldo Amaral in the 91st minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Relyn Futebol Clube fully deserved thier win.
