The ★Independiente Ψ★ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lorenzo Gentza should have stopped the shot. Alfonso Bernabel kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. ★Independiente Ψ★'s Lorenzo Gentza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Cordeal in the 10th minute of play. Dalmacio Pedroso made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Donato Gorbea sent off a good shot on target. Paolo Jerano kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the game, Jonatan Gregory recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dalmacio Pedroso. Jonatan Gregory showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gogo Inguma in the 21st minute of play forced ★Independiente Ψ★'s goalkeeper Lorenzo Gentza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Honorato Taurino kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Lorenzo Gentza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Cordeal in the 23rd minute of the match. Lorenzo Gentza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorio Dacio in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute Rafael Cordeal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lorenzo Gentza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hector Maxin during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Vamos Los Pibes!!!! booed when ★Independiente Ψ★ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hector Maxin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lorenzo Gentza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Cordeal in the 31st minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Isaac Cresconio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lorenzo Gentza was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Lorenzo Gentza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gogo Inguma, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Dalmacio Pedroso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonatan Gregory in the 44th minute. 46 minutes into the game, ★Independiente Ψ★'s Honorato Taurino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dalmacio Pedroso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 51st minute, Rafael Cordeal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vamos Los Pibes!!!! fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. ★Independiente Ψ★'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Rafael Cordeal scored to the left of an out of position Lorenzo Gentza, making the score, 2-4. After a rather tough play, ★Independiente Ψ★'s Marcelino Jurdan got a free kick in the 60th minute. Marcelino Jurdan kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Lorenzo Gentza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Cordeal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ★Independiente Ψ★'s Lorenzo Gentza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save ★Independiente Ψ★ from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victorio Dacio got free with Lorenzo Gentza in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lorenzo Gentza made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Victorio Dacio sent off a good shot on target. In the 86th minute, Vamos Los Pibes!!!!'s Victorio Dacio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lorenzo Gentza. Lorenzo Gentza yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-8. Lorenzo Gentza was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gogo Inguma showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-9 in the 90 minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Paolo Jerano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lorenzo Gentza. That made the score 2-10 in the 93 minute of play. Victorio Dacio scored 2-11 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lorenzo Gentza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match was over Vamos Los Pibes!!!! could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ★Independiente Ψ★ throughout the match.
