After 4 minutes, Luisão Capixaba mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 100 Chance and the Canarinho Atordoado players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, 100 Chance's Luisão Capixaba got a free kick in the 5th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Gerber in the 6th minute of play forced Canarinho Atordoado's goalkeeper Egídio Sampaio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of 100 Chance booed when Canarinho Atordoado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fellipe Sampaio didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Naldo Marquez fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 100 Chance's protests and gave Naldo Marquez a yellow card for diving instead. Naldo Marquez hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Fellipe Sampaio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Leopoldo Cerezo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Naldo Marquez in the 24th minute of play forced Canarinho Atordoado's goalkeeper Egídio Sampaio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jefferson Rossi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leopoldo Cerezo made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Fellipe Sampaio sent off a good shot on target. Daniel Gomes kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Percival dos Santos struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Leopoldo Cerezo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Canarinho Atordoado. Jefferson Rossi hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute, Reinaldo Almeida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 39 minutes 100 Chance's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Percival dos Santos who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Walmir Tróia heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After 40 played minutes 100 Chance got a freekick which was hit by Aílton Bueno. In the 42nd minute, Fellipe Sampaio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Egídio Sampaio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Gerber, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Egídio Sampaio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Gerber in the 48th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fellipe Sampaio to make the kick off. Elói Loureiro lost his temper 51 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 52nd match minute, Canarinho Atordoado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elói Loureiro to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Canarinho Atordoado's Walmir Tróia got a free kick in the 56th minute. Leopoldo Cerezo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Cerezo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Canarinho Atordoado's Egídio Sampaio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Canarinho Atordoado from getting a goal against them. Leopoldo Cerezo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olívio Diniz in the 70th minute of the match. João Cerezo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jefferson Rossi in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leopoldo Cerezo saved 100 Chance from getting behind. A collision led to Canarinho Atordoado getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Walmir Tróia hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Naldo Marquez got free with Egídio Sampaio in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Canarinho Atordoado's Egídio Sampaio got control of the ball when Naldo Marquez tried to sneak it across the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Canarinho Atordoado's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Gerber came free, but Egídio Sampaio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Although Canarinho Atordoado had been in control for most of the match, 100 Chance still came away with the win.
