Várzea F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Ramiro Rosado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bakar Gopala Pillai breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Ramiro Rosado fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Várzea F.C.'s protests and gave Ramiro Rosado a yellow card for diving instead. After 5 played minutes Várzea F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ramiro Rosado. Bakar Gopala Pillai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdomiro Duarte in the 14th minute of play. After 17 played minutes Rossobianco got a freekick which was hit by Nunez Endira. Rossobianco's Bakar Gopala Pillai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aníbal Paes in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th match minute, Várzea F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aníbal Paes to maneuver through the defense. Bakar Gopala Pillai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdomiro Duarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Romeu Batista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nunez Endira in the 23rd minute of play. Bakar Gopala Pillai stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valdomiro Duarte's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. The audience was convinced that Valdomiro Duarte's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bakar Gopala Pillai was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Fidel Innocenzio kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Bakar Gopala Pillai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdomiro Duarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Benicio Ruy hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. The supporters of Rossobianco booed when Várzea F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alessandro Mandrak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bakar Gopala Pillai stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valdomiro Duarte's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. After 47 played minutes Rossobianco got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Marcones. A hard and well directed shot from Filipe Mendonça led 48 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Rossobianco's Bakar Gopala Pillai became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 0-1.

The wind increased when Nunez Endira made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Várzea F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Nunez Endira came free, but Romeu Batista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Nunez Endira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Romeu Batista was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. In the 56th minute, Cornelio Quilino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bakar Gopala Pillai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessandro Mandrak in the 58th minute of play. With his leg Bakar Gopala Pillai managed to avoid a goal in the 61stth minute, when Várzea F.C.'s Valdomiro Duarte fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Bakar Gopala Pillai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdomiro Duarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 74thth minute of the game Valdomiro Duarte who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rossobianco's Bakar Gopala Pillai was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Valdomiro Duarte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Romeu Batista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benicio Ruy in the 77th minute of the match. After 77 played minutes Rossobianco got a freekick which was hit by Cornelio Quilino. 84 minutes into the match, Rossobianco's goalkeeper Bakar Gopala Pillai had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valdomiro Duarte. In the 92nd match minute, Várzea F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albertinho Travassos to maneuver through the defense. Romeu Batista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benicio Ruy, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. A collision led to Rossobianco getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Cornelio Quilino hit a great ball. Valdomiro Duarte might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bakar Gopala Pillai. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valdomiro Duarte ran back to his position shaking his head.
