Sheep United's Bennie Geerts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdomiro Duarte in the 15th minute of play. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 27 minutes into the game, Leon Smit was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sheep United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Várzea F.C. the free kick. Leon Smit kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Alessandro Mandrak had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bennie Geerts. Bennie Geerts stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valdomiro Duarte's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Bennie Geerts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alessandro Mandrak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Valdomiro Duarte's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bennie Geerts was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Bennie Geerts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmílson Donato in the 44th minute of play.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramiro Rosado in the 50th minute of play forced Sheep United's goalkeeper Bennie Geerts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Várzea F.C.'s Valdomiro Duarte got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Bruninho Arósio hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Sheep United's Bennie Geerts proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Sheep United from getting a goal against them. Bennie Geerts made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Ramiro Rosado sent off a good shot on target. 71 minutes into the game, Alessandro Mandrak recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bennie Geerts. Alessandro Mandrak showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. Roelof Stuijt kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Sheep United's goal looked a bit too open when Ramiro Rosado came free, but Bennie Geerts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benjamim de Moraes kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Bennie Geerts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmílson Donato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valdomiro Duarte got free with Bennie Geerts in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Ramiro Rosado took a quick shot and it went in 0-9 without a chance for Bennie Geerts to make any attempt to save it. In the 93rd minute, Valdomiro Duarte left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Várzea F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-10. Várzea F.C. played a much better game than Sheep United and deserved their victory. The Sheep United players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
