The referee ignored Várzea F.C.'s protests and gave Aníbal Paes a yellow card for diving instead. Daniele Frezza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdomiro Duarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Fiume Veneto's Daniele Frezza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdomiro Duarte in the 91st minute of play. After 94 minutes of play Fiume Veneto's Ercole Ottaviani was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground.
