Racing Club's Ezequiel Pero got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee felt a red card was in order, 31 minutes into the game, when Tommy Örtlund put in a rough tackle. In the 31st minute, one of Oskars Glada Gäng:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Oskars Glada Gäng. When the match had been going on for 34 minutes, Racing Club's Ezequiel Pero got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of André Gustafsson. Damian Quirze took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fu Shu Xuan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fu Shu Xuan scored 3-1 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Damian Quirze, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Racing Club were awarded a corner in the 49th minute after Oskars Glada Gäng's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ivan Felipo took the corner. The corner led to Racing Club's Ubaldo Bento getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Angelo Sayvion to make the kick off. André Gustafsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Sayvion in the 58th minute of the match. Fu Shu Xuan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sven Broman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Damian Quirze tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damian Quirze was out of position in the 77 minute of play, and Fu Shu Xuan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fu Shu Xuan really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2. Börje Hammarström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Angelo Sayvion struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. André Gustafsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Racing Club. After a rather tough play, Racing Club's Aaron Santiago got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 89th minute of the match, Fu Shu Xuan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Damian Quirze saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 93 minutes into the game, Filomeno Venerando was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Racing Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oskars Glada Gäng the free kick. After 93 played minutes Racing Club got a freekick which was hit by Filomeno Venerando. Edwin Billvall didn't quite understand what happened when in the 95 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. The Racing Club players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
