Spectators: 7471 (Terracing: 5604, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Wasyl Oryniak started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergiu Lăzărescu in the 3rd minute of play forced Near End's goalkeeper Tymoteusz Piszczor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5th minute, Sandu Bărbânță hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sergiu Lăzărescu, 10 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 25th match minute, Near End was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lech Miarka to maneuver through the defense. The FC Cosula-BTF- fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when FC Cosula-BTF-'s Sergiu Lăzărescu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 38th minute, Alin Bucur left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Cosula-BTF- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Manuel Neicu's late challenge caught a Near End's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manuel Neicu helped the player get up and apologised. After 44 played minutes FC Cosula-BTF- got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Neicu. 48 minutes into the match, Near End's goal looked a bit too open when Alin Bucur came free, but Tymoteusz Piszczor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The wind increased when Sergiu Lăzărescu made the kick off in the second half. Near End were furious when Olaf Jajko was red carded, 66 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 73rd match minute, FC Cosula-BTF- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliodor Dragușin to maneuver through the defense. After 74 played minutes Near End got a freekick which was hit by Wasyl Oryniak. Near End's Tymoteusz Piszczor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergiu Lăzărescu in the 77th minute of play. When Alfred Czajka fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Near End's protests and gave Alfred Czajka a yellow card for diving instead. In the 78th match minute, Near End was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfred Czajka to maneuver through the defense. Alin Bucur could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Tymoteusz Piszczor made a huge save. Sandu Bărbânță struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Tymoteusz Piszczor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Cosula-BTF-. In the 86th minute, FC Cosula-BTF-'s Petruț Dugulescu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. In the 90th minute Petru Chirea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tymoteusz Piszczor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sergiu Lăzărescu scored 0-6 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tymoteusz Piszczor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sandu Bărbânță was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 98th minute. FC Cosula-BTF-'s manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. FC Cosula-BTF- played a much better game than Near End and deserved their victory. The Near End players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
