A hard shot 5 in the game by Ciprian Gaiță from a close distance when the talented Angelo Romano managed to make a qualified save. Mercado Paulista F.C's players were relieved. In the 7th minute, Ciprian Gaiță ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Angelo Romano was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 10 minutes into the game, Ciprian Gaiță lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Angelo Romano. FC Cosula-BTF-'s Alin Bucur pulled a muscle in his back after 23 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 24 played minutes Mercado Paulista F.C got a freekick which was hit by Remigio Paublo. When Petru Chirea came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the FC Cosula-BTF- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Petru Chirea couldn't finish the play. In the 27th match minute, Mercado Paulista F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elvio Illart to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Petruț Dugulescu took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Angelo Romano to make any attempt to save it. In the 31st minute, Gigi Ababei got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Petru Chirea kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Natalio Ralondo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 34th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After having played for 38 minutes, Ciprian Gaiță managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Cosula-BTF-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciprian Gaiță was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Gigi Ababei managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Cosula-BTF-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Gigi Ababei was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelo Romano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ciprian Gaiță received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Angelo Romano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gigi Ababei struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Angelo Romano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Cosula-BTF-. FC Cosula-BTF-'s Ciprian Gaiță got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Natalio Ralondo was the one to do the kick off. Ciprian Gaiță fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Romano having to interfere. The supporters of FC Cosula-BTF- booed when Mercado Paulista F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Sidoro didn't get a good kick on the ball. When FC Cosula-BTF-'s Ciprian Gaiță in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mercado Paulista F.C's goalie prevented a goal. Angelo Romano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Petruț Dugulescu's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. 65 minutes into the match, FC Cosula-BTF-'s goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Fidensio came free, but Iacob Romeo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. During the 74th minute of the match Remigio Paublo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Remigio Paublo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a defensive mix-up in Mercado Paulista F.C's zone, Ciprian Gaiță stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelo Romano came out of the goal and Ciprian Gaiță tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Angelo Romano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciprian Gaiță, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Petruț Dugulescu in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angelo Romano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 86th minute, Bishen Quattrocchi fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Iacob Romeo, passed just outside the right post. After 92 minutes, Petruț Dugulescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Cosula-BTF- and the Mercado Paulista F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Cosula-BTF-'s Petruț Dugulescu got a free kick in the 92nd minute. When the referee ended the match the FC Cosula-BTF- players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
