Spectators: 7530 (Terracing: 5649, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Toninho Arruda took the kick off in the first half of the match. Joel Lopes might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Angelo Romano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joel Lopes ran back to his position shaking his head. Joel Lopes came free with the goalkeeper in the 4th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Angelo Romano could save by the left post. 8 minutes into the match, Monumento Sports's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Urtungo came free, but Natanael Sena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Alvaro Fidensio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mercado Paulista F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Alvaro Fidensio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Natanael Sena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joel Lopes in the 17thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Angelo Romano, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Angelo Romano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toninho Arruda in the 18th minute of the match. Joel Lopes scored 1-0 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Angelo Romano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 34 played minutes Mercado Paulista F.C got a freekick which was hit by Maximiliano Urtungo. Toninho Arruda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Angelo Romano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Lopes in the 38th minute of play. Angelo Romano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joel Lopes in the 40th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Natalio Ralondo to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toninho Arruda in the 59th minute of play forced Mercado Paulista F.C's goalkeeper Angelo Romano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Toninho Arruda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Angelo Romano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joel Lopes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mercado Paulista F.C's Angelo Romano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Lopes in the 71st minute of play. Angelo Romano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toninho Arruda in the 72nd minute of play. Angelo Romano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Lopes in the 77th minute of the match. When Joel Lopes came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Monumento Sports fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Lopes couldn't finish the play. Monumento Sports's Toninho Arruda got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joel Lopes in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angelo Romano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Angelo Romano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Lopes in the 94th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Monumento Sports had won after a very even match.
