The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Geovani Borges in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Álvaro Perpiñán saved Sporting Burgas from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roger Nueva during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovani Borges in the 12th minute of play forced Sporting Burgas's goalkeeper Álvaro Perpiñán to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute Geovani Borges shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álvaro Perpiñán saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Álvaro Perpiñán showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geovani Borges, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. The supporters of Sporting Burgas booed when Figueira SC FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geovani Borges didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovani Borges in the 23rd minute of play forced Sporting Burgas's goalkeeper Álvaro Perpiñán to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Álvaro Perpiñán made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simão Arósio in the 25th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Geovani Borges in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Álvaro Perpiñán prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 28th minute, Geovani Borges left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Figueira SC FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 31 minutes into the match, Figueira SC FSCMZ's goalkeeper Gino Hoffmann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roldán Delgado. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Chico Igual took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Gino Hoffmann to make any attempt to save it. Chico Igual's late challenge caught a Figueira SC FSCMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chico Igual helped the player get up and apologised. After 39 minutes, Simão Arósio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Figueira SC FSCMZ and the Sporting Burgas players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Figueira SC FSCMZ getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Simão Arósio hit a great ball. Chico Igual fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gino Hoffmann having to interfere.

In the 52ndth minute of the game Geovani Borges who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sporting Burgas's Álvaro Perpiñán was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 54th minute, Afonsinho Donatello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maurin Canturri struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Gino Hoffmann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sporting Burgas. If Roldán Delgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Chico Igual received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Gino Hoffmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Figueira SC FSCMZ's Gino Hoffmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chico Igual in the 68th minute of play. Álvaro Perpiñán came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Figueira SC FSCMZ's Geovani Borges. But to his dismay, Geovani Borges quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 71st minute, Afonsinho Donatello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roldán Delgado in the 73rd minute of play forced Figueira SC FSCMZ's goalkeeper Gino Hoffmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Sporting Burgas booed when Figueira SC FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geovani Borges didn't get a good kick on the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Figueira SC FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Chico Igual came free, but Gino Hoffmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Álvaro Perpiñán stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Geovani Borges's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. In the 82ndth minute of the game Roldán Delgado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Figueira SC FSCMZ's Gino Hoffmann was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Figueira SC FSCMZ's Simão Arósio got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 93 minutes into the game, Afonsinho Donatello was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Figueira SC FSCMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sporting Burgas the free kick. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Figueira SC FSCMZ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
