When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Benny Salah sped through Sandinense ADF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tony de Sena. Benny Salah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Tony de Sena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lauta Army were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Sandinense ADF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rhesos Theodoratos took the corner. Lauta Army's Rhesos Theodoratos was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tony de Sena in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 31st minute of the game. One of Sandinense ADF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lauta Army:s goal. Cássio Maia hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Seoirse McJon in the 37th minute of play forced Sandinense ADF's goalkeeper Tony de Sena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute of the match Lauta Army got a corner. Sandinense ADF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rhesos Theodoratos ran over to the corner to take the kick. Rodriguinho Dias tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Tony de Sena. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-5 in the 39th minute. 44 minutes into the match, Sandinense ADF's goal looked a bit too open when Seoirse McJon came free, but Tony de Sena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benny Salah scored 0-6 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tony de Sena, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benny Salah to strike the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes Sandinense ADF got a freekick which was hit by Romário Linares. In the 56th minute, Romário Linares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tony de Sena was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Seoirse McJon showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-8 in the 57 minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Lauta Army's Benny Salah sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tony de Sena narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Seoirse McJon who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Tony de Sena when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Tony de Sena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benny Salah in the 68th minute of play. 69 minutes into the game, Generoso Montel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-10. Tony de Sena was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 72nd minute Seoirse McJon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony de Sena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benny Salah got free with Tony de Sena in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Generoso Montel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tony de Sena having to make a save. When the match was over Lauta Army could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sandinense ADF throughout the match.
