Alcides Valadares succeeded in the game's 19th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. In the 23rd minute, FC Dezassete's Alcides Valadares dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Lili Li received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tadeu Moraes came out and tried to block the shot, but Lili Li slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 29th minute. 33 minutes into the match, FC Dezassete's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Quirino came free, but Tiago Dantas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Dezassete's Gatis Caca-Rato got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 36th match minute, FC Dezassete was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gervásio Mascarenhas to maneuver through the defense. 40 minutes into the match, Alcides Valadares had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tadeu Moraes. SANTOS F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alcides Valadares was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Benjamin Quirino managed to get in a good position for a shot. SANTOS F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Benjamin Quirino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tiago Dantas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alcides Valadares to make the kick off. After 53 played minutes FC Dezassete got a freekick which was hit by Bento Setúbal. Lili Li fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeu Moraes having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Nivaldo Rijo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tadeu Moraes was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC Dezassete had won after a very even match.
