In the 2nd minute, Markus Wenerdahl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sebastian Blomkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rudy Trotter, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Gary Gamble charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gary Gamble the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rudy Trotter got free with Sebastian Blomkvist in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 15th minute, Gary Gamble reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sebastian Blomkvist. The goal made the score 1-0. After 20 minutes of play, MaLe FC's Rolf Algren made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Bland was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolf Algren in the 23rd minute of play forced Creekers's goalkeeper Tommy Bland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Thor Rolfsson notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Creekers's Tommy Bland. Tommy Bland was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 31st match minute, MaLe FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eddie Fransson to maneuver through the defense. Rudy Trotter came free with the goalkeeper in the 35th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Sebastian Blomkvist could save by the left post. Tommy Bland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolf Algren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gary Gamble fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Blomkvist having to interfere. Sebastian Blomkvist made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Rudy Trotter sent off a good shot on target. If Kip Connelly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Creekers players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. MaLe FC were winning 1-2.
In the 50th minute Desmond Patterson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Blomkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastian Blomkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gary Gamble in the 51st minute of the match. Desmond Patterson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 54th minute Desmond Patterson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Blomkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Creekers were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after MaLe FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kip Connelly took the corner. Thor Rolfsson came free with the goalkeeper in the 57th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tommy Bland could save by the left post. MaLe FC's Sebastian Blomkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gary Gamble in the 61st minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Rolf Algren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Bland. Creekers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rolf Algren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Sebastian Blomkvist came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Creekers's Rudy Trotter. But to his dismay, Rudy Trotter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Tommy Bland made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Rolf Algren sent off a good shot on target. Sebastian Blomkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gary Gamble, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Tommy Bland was a little too slow when Markus Wenerdahl got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 73rd minute. The score was now 2-4. MaLe FC's Sebastian Blomkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Desmond Patterson in the 76th minute of play. After some careless play in the Creekers defense, Markus Wenerdahl kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Bland. The Creekers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Bland should have stopped the shot. Tommy Bland made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rolf Algren in the 87th minute. 88 minutes into the game, Peter Hultin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tommy Bland. Peter Hultin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-6. After some careless play in the MaLe FC defense, Gary Gamble kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sebastian Blomkvist. The MaLe FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sebastian Blomkvist should have stopped the shot. The Creekers supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching MaLe FC's performance. The match ended with a win for MaLe FC.
