The audience was convinced that Vintilă Turcescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luisão Seco was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. After 14 played minutes AC Ony got a freekick which was hit by Ciprian Caba. AC Ony's Cisco Rubial played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Almir Loureiro in the 15th minute of play. 17 minutes into the game, Vintilă Turcescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AC Ony's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexilhão F. C. the free kick. After 17 played minutes AC Ony got a freekick which was hit by Vintilă Turcescu. Feng Qian Chao kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Donald Tusk took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luisão Seco. Luisão Seco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. 27 minutes into the match, AC Ony's Ciprian Caba sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luisão Seco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 31 played minutes Mexilhão F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Willian Rosa. Julio Dei took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Luisão Seco. Mexilhão F. C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Iuri Peixoto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th minute, Ciprian Caba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Donald Tusk took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luisão Seco. Luisão Seco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. In the 47th minute, Edmundo Novaes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 48th minute of the match Julio Dei sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luisão Seco skillfully saved the ball. The Mexilhão F. C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. AC Ony were winning 0-5.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Almir Loureiro to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Almir Loureiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 53 minutes into the match, Mexilhão F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Vintilă Turcescu came free, but Luisão Seco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Donald Tusk succeeded in the game's 54th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-6. In the 58th minute, Vintilă Turcescu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Luisão Seco. The goal made the score 0-7. Luisão Seco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciprian Milan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Ciprian Milan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luisão Seco. That made the score 0-8 in the 66 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Mexilhão F. C.'s Edmundo Novaes got a free kick in the 73rd minute. A collision led to AC Ony getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Mihai Lixandru hit a great ball. Luisão Seco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciprian Milan in the 78th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, Mexilhão F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ciprian Milan came free, but Luisão Seco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ciprian Milan was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 79th minute. AC Ony's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 79th minute, AC Ony's Ciprian Caba dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-9. 84 minutes into the match, AC Ony's goal looked a bit too open when Almir Loureiro came free, but Cisco Rubial reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luisão Seco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciprian Caba in the 89th minute of play. The Mexilhão F. C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. AC Ony were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
