PS Banyuwangi's Sirod Simanungkalit proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save PS Banyuwangi from getting a goal against them. Firman Gomar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sirod Simanungkalit came out and tried to block the shot, but Firman Gomar slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 12th minute. 16 minutes into the game, Robinson Paterson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Centenario Bohemio's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PS Banyuwangi the free kick. If Dedi Soeharto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to PS Banyuwangi getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Eri Sururi hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Firman Gomar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Centenario Bohemio's supporters rose to their feet, but Firman Gomar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sirod Simanungkalit breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Robinson Paterson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Sirod Simanungkalit made a huge save. In the 33rd minute Budi Utomo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignacio Bessone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Centenario Bohemio getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Robinson Paterson hit a great ball. In the 38th minute, Robinson Paterson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mathias Supriatna struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Ignacio Bessone didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PS Banyuwangi. Sirod Simanungkalit was left in no man's land by his defense there! The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dedi Soeharto made a kick off. Sirod Simanungkalit showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robinson Paterson, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 58th minute Budi Utomo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignacio Bessone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Centenario Bohemio's goal looked a bit too open when Budi Utomo came free, but Ignacio Bessone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dedi Soeharto got free with Ignacio Bessone in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 68th match minute, PS Banyuwangi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edo Hakim to maneuver through the defense. Nicolas Mosca, 69 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Edo Hakim hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 81st minute, Firman Gomar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Centenario Bohemio fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Ignacio Bessone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonard Winar in the 88th minute of the match. After 94 minutes of play, Centenario Bohemio's Robinson Paterson made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sirod Simanungkalit was left in no man's land by his defense there!
