Cido Paranaense hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. When Fabrício Águas fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Dream Team's protests and gave Fabrício Águas a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC Dream Team getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Fabrício Águas hit a great ball. In the 18th minute Maximiliano Omar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonel Vaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute of the match Brazil Academy got a corner. FC Dream Team's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Valdo de Almeida ran over to the corner to take the kick. 23 minutes into the match, FC Dream Team's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Omar came free, but Leonel Vaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonel Vaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Omar, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 30th minute Maximiliano Omar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonel Vaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. João Couto didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when FC Dream Team's Fabrício Águas shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Marcelo Mangueira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonel Vaz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Brazil Academy's goalkeeper João Couto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Inácio Vidal. A collision led to FC Dream Team getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Bruno Jordão hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Inácio Vidal to make the kick off. Leonel Vaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Durval Nunes in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 57th match minute, FC Dream Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juliano Caires to maneuver through the defense. 60 minutes into the game, Maximiliano Omar recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leonel Vaz. Maximiliano Omar showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maximiliano Omar got free with Leonel Vaz in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 66 minutes into the game, Brazil Academy's Marcelo Mangueira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leonel Vaz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. When the match clock showed 70 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Maximiliano Omar sped through FC Dream Team's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Leonel Vaz. 75 minutes into the match, Brazil Academy's Joélson Barbosa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leonel Vaz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Maximiliano Omar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Leonel Vaz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Leonel Vaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Mangueira in the 80th minute of play. With a little luck, FC Dream Team's Leonel Vaz got control of the ball when Maximiliano Omar tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the FC Dream Team defense, Maximiliano Omar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonel Vaz. The FC Dream Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonel Vaz should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Mangueira in the 88th minute of play forced FC Dream Team's goalkeeper Leonel Vaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Brazil Academy had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
