Spectators: 7374 (Terracing: 5636, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 10) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cazimir Zăraşcu kicked off to start the match. A throw-in in the 3rd minute of the game was made by Ioan Jupâneanu with George Vâlcu as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. If Fred Lidman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sergiu Angheluță took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fred Lidman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cazimir Zăraşcu in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erland Spetz saved Kurdistan CF from getting behind. Fred Lidman hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Champions Iasi's George Vâlcu got a free kick in the 17th minute. Champions Iasi's Sergiu Angheluță played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred Lidman in the 21st minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Fred Lidman notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Champions Iasi's Sergiu Angheluță. Sergiu Angheluță was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Champions Iasi's Sergiu Angheluță got control of the ball when Fred Lidman tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 36th match minute, Kurdistan CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan-Åke Kolberg to maneuver through the defense. George Vâlcu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Erland Spetz. Kurdistan CF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Kurdistan CF booed when Champions Iasi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusebiu Gheondea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Xalbador Sparke was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 39th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Sergiu Angheluță showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred Lidman in the 41st minute of the match. Xalbador Sparke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fred Lidman's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 46thth minute, Sergiu Angheluță skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fred Lidman was the one to do the kick off. Sergiu Angheluță took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Ove Sandström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kaj Holm hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. A hard shot 54 in the game by Cazimir Zăraşcu from a close distance when the talented Erland Spetz managed to make a qualified save. Kurdistan CF's players were relieved. A collision led to Kurdistan CF getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Kaj Holm hit a great ball. 59 minutes into the match, Champions Iasi's goal looked a bit too open when Fred Lidman came free, but Sergiu Angheluță reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl-Ove Sandström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Champions Iasi booed when Kurdistan CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Måns Wallin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Champions Iasi defense, Fred Lidman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sergiu Angheluță. The Champions Iasi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sergiu Angheluță should have stopped the shot. Cazimir Zăraşcu struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Erland Spetz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Champions Iasi. Cazimir Zăraşcu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Erland Spetz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some careless play in the Champions Iasi defense, Fred Lidman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sergiu Angheluță. The Champions Iasi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sergiu Angheluță should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fred Lidman in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sergiu Angheluță prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Erland Spetz stood somewhat misplaced when Cazimir Zăraşcu came free in front of goal and shot 4-1 to the left of him in the 78 minute. Erland Spetz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cazimir Zăraşcu in the 81st minute. After 88 minutes of play, Kurdistan CF's Xalbador Sparke made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sergiu Angheluță was left in no man's land by his defense there! Erland Spetz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cazimir Zăraşcu in the 91st minute of the match. In the 94th minute, Karl-Ove Sandström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kurdistan CF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1.
