Spectators: 7503 (Terracing: 5628, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 149) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Przemyslaw Bulkiewicz got the match started through his kick off. When João Augusto Linares fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Joélson Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wojciech Rosiewicz in the 7th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Wojciech Rosiewicz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joélson Carvalho. Litoral EC - CIMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wojciech Rosiewicz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 21 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Litoral EC - CIMZ! Litoral EC - CIMZ:s Joélson Carvalho showed great skill when he stopped Mikolaj Winszman:s penalty. Joélson Carvalho came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Newcastle United's Mikolaj Winszman. But to his dismay, Mikolaj Winszman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 29th of the match, Ulisses Munhoz tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Kryspin Wyrostek got in the way and made a wonderful save. When Ulisses Munhoz came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Litoral EC - CIMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulisses Munhoz couldn't finish the play. Joélson Carvalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Przemyslaw Bulkiewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guto Recife kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The Litoral EC - CIMZ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Newcastle United were winning 0-2.

In the 52nd minute, Ricardinho Vander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 57 minutes into the game, Igor Berger was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Litoral EC - CIMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Newcastle United the free kick. In the 73rd minute Przemyslaw Bulkiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joélson Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th minute, Sílvio Luiz das Neves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Mikolaj Winszman in the 75th minute really tested Joélson Carvalho's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Wojciech Rosiewicz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Joélson Carvalho. That made the score 0-3 in the 76 minute of play. Newcastle United's Kryspin Wyrostek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guto Recife in the 80th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Roch Wawak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 82 minutes into the match, Litoral EC - CIMZ's Paulo José Campidelis broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 84 played minutes Newcastle United got a freekick which was hit by Zbigniew Kalinowski. Litoral EC - CIMZ's Joélson Carvalho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Litoral EC - CIMZ from getting a goal against them. Joélson Carvalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Przemyslaw Bulkiewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Newcastle United's Bernard Seliga got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ulisses Munhoz kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Litoral EC - CIMZ's Joélson Carvalho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Litoral EC - CIMZ from getting a goal against them. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Newcastle United eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
