The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vito de Sena in the 12th minute of play forced Fox Hunting Squad's goalkeeper Mats Van Elsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, PEREBAH FC's Amauri Proença got control of the ball when Reinard Van Cleijnenbreughel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Amauri Proença made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reinard Van Cleijnenbreughel in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute of the match, Kasper De Cat tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Amauri Proença saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Amauri Proença took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kasper De Cat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Fox Hunting Squad's Amauri Proença threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kasper De Cat, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 37 minutes into the game, Jorg Vrijdags cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Amauri Proença was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of PEREBAH FC booed when Fox Hunting Squad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bert Paelinck didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vito de Sena stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. PEREBAH FC's Amauri Proença played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kasper De Cat in the 55th minute of play. Amauri Proença showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reinard Van Cleijnenbreughel, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 59th minute, Jorg Vrijdags made a precise shot to the right of Amauri Proença. PEREBAH FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. The audience was convinced that Jorg Vrijdags's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amauri Proença was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game.
