Vito de Sena's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 5thth minute, Doni Meirelles skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some careless play in the PEREBAH FC defense, Danilo Alagoano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amauri Proença. The PEREBAH FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amauri Proença should have stopped the shot. Vito de Sena who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Doni Meirelles when he managed to save the team from getting behind. PEREBAH FC's Amauri Proença played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernani Massa in the 16th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Cássio Amorim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to PEREBAH FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Ernesto de Godoi hit a great ball. Vítor Teles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 22nd minute Hernani Massa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amauri Proença saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Doni Meirelles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamim Freitas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hernani Massa took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amauri Proença. Amauri Proença dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Amauri Proença showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernani Massa in the 33rd minute of the match. Benjamim Freitas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doni Meirelles having to interfere. After a rather tough play, ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽'s Fellipe Alves got a free kick in the 36th minute. PEREBAH FC's Benjamim Freitas got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ernani Arce scored 1-2 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Doni Meirelles, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 42nd minute, Vítor Teles made a precise shot to the right of Amauri Proença. PEREBAH FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. If Ernani Arce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlinhos Macedo hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The PEREBAH FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽ were winning 1-3.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vito de Sena to strike the kick off in the second half. Benjamim Freitas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 52 minutes into the game, Cássio Amorim was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PEREBAH FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽ the free kick. The supporters of ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽ booed when PEREBAH FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cássio Amorim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amauri Proença made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Hernani Massa sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, PEREBAH FC's Diamantino Penha got a free kick in the 58th minute. Amauri Proença came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽'s Hernani Massa. But to his dismay, Hernani Massa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. PEREBAH FC's Amauri Proença played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernani Massa in the 65th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hernani Massa in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amauri Proença prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Vito de Sena came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the PEREBAH FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vito de Sena couldn't finish the play. Gilson Moreno hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute Vito de Sena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doni Meirelles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hernani Massa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Amauri Proença made a huge save. 84 minutes into the game, Ernani Arce cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Doni Meirelles was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vito de Sena in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Doni Meirelles saved ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽ from getting behind. In the 90th minute Benjamim Freitas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doni Meirelles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
