Spectators: 7509 (Terracing: 5632, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Adan Francho started the match with the kick off. Adan Francho took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eric Duarte. Eric Duarte dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Eric Duarte stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adan Francho's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Feliberto Ortle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Keylor Cubero in the 14th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorge Padilla in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Feliberto Ortle saved WINNING ELEVEN from getting behind. LinuX F.C.'s Eric Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigoberto Hechter in the 18th minute of play. After a rather tough play, WINNING ELEVEN's Ermegildo Otsando got a free kick in the 20th minute. Feliberto Ortle acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 21st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Jorge Padilla. Eric Duarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rigoberto Hechter, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 27th minute, Nereo Sanchez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Feliberto Ortle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Keylor Cubero, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After having played for 39 minutes, Artemio Abancens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. WINNING ELEVEN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Artemio Abancens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Feliberto Ortle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Keylor Cubero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute Artemio Abancens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Duarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adan Francho in the 45th minute of play forced LinuX F.C.'s goalkeeper Eric Duarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute, Beto Aguilar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jorge Padilla made a kick off. The supporters of LinuX F.C. booed when WINNING ELEVEN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abelardo Raitin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 62 minutes, Beto Aguilar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LinuX F.C. and the WINNING ELEVEN players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 62nd match minute, LinuX F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beto Aguilar to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, LinuX F.C.'s Eric Duarte got control of the ball when Adan Francho tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 67th minute, WINNING ELEVEN's Artemio Abancens ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Eric Duarte. Eric Duarte yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. LinuX F.C.'s Eric Duarte proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save LinuX F.C. from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Keylor Cubero in the 78th minute of play forced WINNING ELEVEN's goalkeeper Feliberto Ortle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in LinuX F.C.'s zone, Nereo Sanchez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eric Duarte came out of the goal and Nereo Sanchez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
